Regional stocks followed the negative lead...>

STOCKS
STOCKS: Regional stocks followed the negative lead from Wall St. as fears over
the US political backdrop & US-Sino trade tensions weighed on equities.
- The Nikkei 225 traded 0.8% lower, technology names were among the largest
losers, following on from the patterns seen in the US after Trump vetoed the
Broadcom-Qualcomm deal, with retail names also falling.
- The Hang Seng underperformed shedding 1.25%, while China's CSI 300 fell by
0.5% as source stories did the rounds re: incoming US tariffs targeting Chinese
firms, as IT names understandably led the way lower & financial names also
dragged.
- Australia's ASX 200 fell by 0.8% with telecoms once again leading the way.
- US index futures also moved lower in sympathy with broader sentiment.
