Regional Unemployment Figures, Chile Activity Data

  • Thursday’s LatAm schedule starts with Brazil releasing its nominal and primary budget balances, net debt % GDP, and the national unemployment rate. Mexico will also release July unemployment rate data, along with net outstanding loans figures.
  • Chile's schedule is notably heavy, commencing with the central bank's traders survey, which serves as the final survey before the policy meeting next week. Additionally, manufacturing, industrial, and copper production statistics, alongside commercial activity, and retail sales data are due.
  • Colombia will release its urban and national unemployment rates. Argentina is expected to release its consumer confidence index.
  • Outside LatAm, the US will release its initial jobless claims, PCE and August MNI Chicago PMI today.
