Lithuania is set to re-launch its 700MW offshore wind park in the Baltic Sea, with the bidders able to submit documents over 19 November 2024-March 18, 2025, it said, cited by BNS.

  • The winning bidder will sell electricity at €75–126/ MWh.
  • The tender has also been slightly adjusted, after the initial tender failed in April 2024, with a single bidder now able to satisfy the tender's participation requirement.
  • Additionally, the electricity sale price will include an annual recalculation of the state incentive and participants can receive a 15-year public incentive.
  • The bidder offering the highest development fee (minimum €5mn) or requesting the lowest annual incentive will win the tender.
  • Lithuania’s Ignitis Group and Poland’s Orlen have announced intentions to participate in the tender.
