- BBG median: 8.3%m/m; -5.9%y/y; Prev (May): 12.0%m/m, -13.1%y/y
- Ex. Fuel: BBG: 7.9% m/m, -3.7% y/y; Prev (May): 10.2% m/m, -9.8% y/y 
- Mkts project another solid uptick in Jun as non-essential shops reopened.
- Total sales are forecast to rise 8.3%, while sales ex. fuel are seen up 7.9%. 
- M/M retail sales rebounded in May with total sales rising by 12.0% after they
slumped by 18.0% in Apr. 
- May's recovery was driven by a strong increase in fuel sales, up 49.1%,
followed by household goods sales which rose 42.0%. 
- Y/Y sales are still seen lower, with total sales forecast to fall by 3.7%,
while excluding fuel they are anticipated to decline by 5.9%. 
- The BRC retail sales monitor posted similar results with annual total sales
rising 3.4% in June, while like-for-like sales were up 10.9% in June. 
- The report noted that June's increase was driven by online sales, while
footfall on high streets still remains low.
