  • The latest Baker Hughes rig count data is due for release at 18:00BST. Earlier this month saw rig counts holding steady but have since resume the upwards trend. Rig counts have been gradually increasing with oil rigs up from a low of 172 in Aug20 and gas rigs up from 68 in Jul20. The expectation is for oil rigs to increase by 5 to 589 today and gas rigs were up to 154 last week.
