Asia-Pac spot trade after it closed below the figure on Monday, last printing
+$3/oz at $1,701/oz.
- Familiar matters remain in play and have resulted in a coiling motion in
prices, and a formation of a triangle pattern, in technical terms.
- Participants continue to weigh up the prospects for monetary policy at the Fed
(with Chair Powell's Wednesday address key) after several regional Fed
Presidents have pushed back on the idea of -ve interest rates over the last week
or so, while the bounce back, or lack thereof, from the COVID-19 pandemic is
obviously set to shape the medium term outlook for the global economy.
