Russia, China To Strengthen Energy Ties: Rosneft

Russian energy companies are ready to submit proposals to their Chinese partners in all key areas of cooperation in the fuel and energy complex, CEO of Rosneft Igor Sechin said.

  • "Traditionally, our organisation has played an essential part in the strategic shift to the East. We have always advocated for comprehensive collaboration with Chinese partners across the whole technological chain, including exploration and production, processing, power generation, and sales on potential markets, including sales through retail networks”, Sechin said.
  • “Russian energy businesses are prepared to present proposals to Chinese partners in all essential areas of such vertical partnership, including coal, gas, oil, power, and cooperation through Rosatom", he said.
  • Russia’s energy exports to China have increased by 10% in volume this year, according to Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.
