Russian Diesel Exports Projected to Slip April on Refinery Maintenance

Russia plans to reduce seaborne diesel exports in April as refineries start spring maintenance according to Bloomberg reports.

  • Loadings from Russian ports in the Black and Baltic seas, including some volumes originating from Belarus, are planned at 2.39 million tons next month – 14% blow March plans.
  • At 2.77mn tons, March diesel exports are projected at a three year high despite recent sanctions.
  • Russia has found new markets in Latin America, North Africa and the Middle East.
