Russian Oil Product Flows Dip 10% Post Feb 5

Russia’s seaborne oil product exports fell about 10% in Feb 1-12 from the same period in January according to Refinitiv as European sanctions took place.

  • As well as sanctions, Russian loadings have been impacted by tighter tanker availability and storms that impacted cargoes.
  • Vysotsk loadings stood at 330,000 tonnes of fuel compared with 440,000 tonnes in the same period last month.
  • St Petersburg has only loaded 50% of volumes in the same period as January at 150,000 tonnes during 1-12 February.
