Russian Pacific Crude Exports Tick Higher Despite Supposed Production Cut

Shipments of Russian crude from its Pacific coast terminals jumped in April to reach their highest since May 2020 according to Bloomberg vessel tracking.

  • Total exports from terminals at Kozmino and De Kastri on the Russian mainland, and Prigorodnoye on Sakhalin Island, rose to 1.11m b/d in April from 1.07m b/d in March.
  • The higher flows come during the second month of the supposed 500,000 bpd output cut.
