Saudi Arabia’s Jazan Refinery Yet to Start Hydrocracker: FGE

Saudi Arabia’s Jazan refinery is running at around 50% capacity and has yet to start up its hydrocracker - a key unit for the production of diesel, according to FGE.

  • Jazan is designed to process around 400k b/d.
  • When fully operational, the Jizan complex will be able to process Arabian Heavy and Medium crudes to produce up to 75,000 b/d of gasoline, 250,000 b/d of ultra-low sulfur gasoil and 90,000 b/d of vacuum residue, according to Argus media.
