Screen Lift Takes TY To Fresh Session Highs

US TSYS

TYU2 tags fresh session highs in recent trade, with paper paying 119-18+ to -19+ on 5K. We aren’t seeing much in the way of news flow to facilitate the move. Potential for some setup in BTP widener plays ahead of the BTP futures open given the weekend's ratings (Moody’s revised Italy’s outlook to negative) & Italian government (centre left coalition crumbling days after agreement) news, although volume came in Tsys not in bunds (perhaps liquidity/time of day related).
