EUROZONE DATA: Snippets on prices/inflationary factors in today's manufacturing
PMIs suggests inflation pressure could be building in the pipeline:
-FRANCE: "input cost inflation faced by French manufacturers remained elevated
despite easing fractionally from March. In turn, this encouraged firms to

-GERMANY: "...with demand for inputs continuing to outstrip supply, April saw a
further steep increase in average prices paid for purchases [...] Prices charged
by manufacturers, on the other hand, increased at a sharp and accelerated rate
that was among the fastest seen over the past seven years."
-ITALY: "Average vendor performance continued to deteriorate [...] this led
suppliers to raise their prices, a factor that helped to push up overall input
costs at a strong rate. Manufacturers subsequently increased their own charges
again during April."
