S&P Clawing Back Losses Amid Solid Earnings Headlines

A few positive earnings headlines crossing on Bloomberg, following on from Tesla after market yest - this is helping the nascent recovery in S&P futures from this morning's China-induced sell-off which has largely retraced. At 4,402, S&P eminis are still lower vs prior close at 4414.25, but off the 4,390.50 intraday low. Next resistance is 4420.92.
  • 3M SEES FY EPS $9.70 TO $10.10, SAW $9.20 TO $9.70, EST. $9.82
  • GE SEES FY INDUSTRIAL FCF $3.5B TO $5.0B, SAW $2.5B TO $4.5B
  • BOSTON SCIENTIFIC SEES FY ADJ EPS $1.58 TO $1.62, SAW $1.53 TO $1.60

Though homebuilder Pulte Group disappointed:

  • PulteGroup 2Q Adjusted EPS Misses Estimates
