BUNDS
  • Bund is seeing buying on the cash open, with similar flows in US Treasuries.
  • Small miss in German PPI and EU car registration data is keeping the contract underpinned as well as the risk off tone.
  • Central Banks are out of the way, and focus comes back to the Omicron variant.
  • Etsoxx future March contract is now front Month, and there'll be some focus this afternoon on the US with expiry.
  • Emini S&P has pared most of Wednesday/Thursday gains, after the contract rallied from 4602 to a record high yesterday at 4743.25, now at 4656.5.
  • Most of the Option are at the 4600 strike.
  • Very little is left on the data front as we end the week, today sees German IFO, and EU CPI, but final reading for the latter.
  • There are no US data.
  • Bundesbank publishes semi annual Economic forecast.
