Spain Industrial Gas Demand in Q3 Up 25.4% YoY

NATURAL GAS

Industrial gas consumption in Spain during the third quarter rose 25.4% above 2022 levels, supported by demand from the refining, chemical and pharmaceutical sectors, Enagas said.

  • Spain’s industrial demand during Q3 stood at 40.5TWh, up from 32.3TWh a year earlier.
  • The "strong recovery" in the quarter "has broken the trend of the first six months of the year", the company said as it released its quarterly results.
