  • To add to the German states confirmed not reporting next week: Hessen and Berlin/Brandenburg also waiting till February 22nd. Looks increasingly likely all state-by-state data will be delayed.
  • National print at present still scheduled with Destatis for release on Tuesday. It may still be the case that Destatis use state-by-state data and then apply their own weightings themselves to each state to get the national print.
  • As such, a delay in the release of state-by-state data doesn't necessarily imply that the states haven't collected and sent their raw data to Destatis to re-base and re-weigh it.
