Sterling gains some reprieve from the.........>

CABLE: Sterling gains some reprieve from the morning's negative pressure as
markets see some positivity in US Trump comments that the relationship with the
UK is very strong. However, the slight correction in sterling not enough to pare
back the morning's cable losses which had seen rate pressed down to a low of
$1.3103 after it broke support at $1.3170. Rate currently trades back at
$1.3133. EUR/GBP had seen highs of Gbp0.8866, currently around Gbp0.8855. Cable
support remains into $1.3100, a move below to expose $1.3050(Jun28 YTD low). BOE
Cunliffe due to speak at 1130GMT.
