STIR: STIR futures markets have seen little real movement with morning with the
Euribor and Eurodollar strips seeing the front 12 contracts all move less than a
tick today. Moves look larger for the short sterling strip at first glance, but
most of "today's" move higher by up to a couple of ticks happened in late
trading yesterday evening.
- There has been little reaction to this morning's German state CPI data which
pointed to German CPI potentially being a touch stronger than expected. This
afternoon will see a slew of US data ahead of tomorrow's FOMC decision with PCE,
personal income/spending, housing data and consumer confidence all due for
release.
