Stock Futures Edge Back Toward Weekly Highs on Softer PPI

  • E-mini S&P in minor positive territory and within range of yesterday's high of 4838.00 and the cycle best from late Dec at 4841.50 on the back of the softer PPI as well as a partial contribution from the spate of US earnings out this morning.
  • After seeing some brief support across the various earnings releases this morning, VIX futures have settled close to the week's lows ahead of the bell, with attention shifting to Fed's Kashkari (non-voter 'til 2026) in ~30 minutes at 1000ET. No text set for release, but a Q&A will be conducted after participating in a fireside chat on regional conditions.
