Storm Suspends Loadings from Black Sea Ports

Oil exports from Black Sea ports of Novorossiisk and Tuapse and from a CPC terminal are currently suspended due to a storm according to Reuters sources.

  • Loadings from Novorossiisk were suspended on 6 Feb, Tuapse were suspended on 5 Feb, and exports from the CPC terminal were halted on 7 Feb.
  • "The weather is bad. Tankers are waiting in line. We expect the weather to improve by the end of the week", a source said.
  • Approximately 20 tankers were waiting near Tuapse and Novorossiisk for loading as of Thursday according to Refinitiv data.
