Strike Action Interrupts Fuel Shipments At Total’s Production Sites

French strike action has interrupted shipments at several production sites and fuel depots of TotalEnergies in France, the company said.

  • The French CGT union has called for a 48-hour strike from 26 Jan to protest against the government’s new pension reform.
  • Shipments are blocked at La Mede, Donges Normandy and Dunkirk. Refinery site at Feyzin was not affected, the firm added.
  • TotalEnergies on Wednesday said its petrol stations have sufficient stocks to cope with possible strike action.
