EURO-DOLLAR: Strong EUR demand through Asia, via crosses and straight EUR/USD,
saw this rate break above its initial Aug3 NFP react high of $1.1611 before it
ran into stiff resistance at $1.1620. Eventual break above allowed rate to jump
to $1.1628 before momentum faded. Rate settled back around $1.1620, now around
$1.1616. Next resistance seen into the Aug2 NY high of $1.1632, a break to
expose short term tech target of $1.1661(1.618% swing of the post NFP react from
$1.1611-1.1530). Support $1.1595/90. Light data calendar for Wednesday, focus
mainly on USD plays.
