Supply Chain Pressures Easing, Good News For Inflation Outlook

Breville (kitchen appliances maker) has said that global supply chains are improving, despite China’s zero-Covid stance, and that they have been able to get the stock it needs for H1 2023, according to The Australian. This is consistent with RBA Deputy Governor Bullock’s comment last night that global supply chain pressures are easing quite quickly and expected to put downward pressure on inflation. Breville did note though that retailers are quite “cautious”.
