US: Swing State Voters Positive About Trump Impact On Personal Finances
US
A new survey from the Washington Post/Schar School has found that, “a plurality of swing-state voters say they have positive expectations about how a Trump presidency could affect their personal financial situation, with 46 percent saying it would help them, 31 percent saying it would hurt them and 23 percent saying it will make no difference.”
- Mark Rozell, dean at the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University, said: “Rather than just rejecting the current administration’s unpopular policies, these voters were enthusiastic about giving Trump the opportunity to lead on the economy. Trump now needs to avoid being yet another presidential victim of inflated expectations about what any chief executive can do to manage the economy.”
