US TSYS
US TSYS: T-Notes +0-00+ at 130-18+, in a tight range in early Asia trade.
- Weak German industrial orders data helped put a bid back in during early
European hours after the tariff rollback inspired sell off that was seen in
yesterday's Asia-Pac session.
- Market consolidated in a fairly narrow range in the session before NFPs, with
the uptick inequities keeping a lid on any potential bid, with the T-Notes going
out around unchanged levels on the day.
- Curve twist flattened on Thursday.
- Little reaction to comments from Fed's Kaplan.
- Flow of note from Thursday included a TYH0 130.50 straddle seller.
- Fed's Quarles to speak on MonPol & economic outlook in Asia hours, with NFPs
and the release of the semi-annual MonPol report to congress due in U.S. hours.
