US TSYS: T-Notes re-open roughly where they went out, last +0-03 at 131-26.
- The contract edged lower in the early part of a holiday thinned session on
Monday as stronger than expected Caixin m'fing PMI data out of China helped to
counter some of the risk negative stories from the weekend.
- The contract stuck to a tight range in the early part of the NY morning before
a BBG source report put a bid into the space ahead of the early close. As a
reminder, the sources piece suggested that "Chinese and U.S. officials are
struggling to agree on the schedule for a planned meeting this month to continue
trade talks after Washington rejected Beijing's request to delay tariffs that
took effect over the weekend, according to people familiar with the
discussions."
- Markit & ISM manufacturing surveys provide the highlights of the economic
docket on Tuesday, while Fed's Rosengren (dissenting voter at the Fed's most
recent MonPol decision) is the sole Fed speaker on the slate.
