US TSYS
US TSYS: T-Notes trade unchanged at 129-17+ at writing. This comes after the
contract hugged a tight range on Wednesday, consolidating Tuesday's gains, with
the curve finishing a touch flatter, reversing the early, modest weakness that
was seen in the space.
- Focus continues to fall on the Coronavirus, with a handful of extra deaths
declared as case numbers edge higher, including the first such instance
diagnosed in Hong Kong. Also worth noting that the city of Wuhan (Where the
outbreak originated) has seemingly been put into a state of at least
semi-quarantine. The WHO noted that Thursday will bring about its decision re:
whether to declare a global emergency over the outbreak of the virus.
- The wave of $-issuance continued Wednesday, with decent hedging flows observed
as a result.
- More communique came from the Trump admin in Davos, but there was little to
shock.
