AUSSIE BONDS
AUSSIE BONDS: The Australian Office of Financial Management (AOFM) announces
planned transactions for next week: - On Monday 22 October 2018 a tender for the
issue of A$500mn of the 2.25% 21 November 2022 bond line is planned to be held.
- On Monday 22 October 2018 a tender for the repurchase of a combined total of
A$500mn across the 2.75% 21 October 2019 and 1.75% 21 November 2020 bond lines
is planned to be held.
- On Wednesday 24 October 2018 a tender for the issue of $1.0bn of the 2.50% 21
May 2030 bond line is planned to be held.
- On Thursday 25 October 2018 a tender for the issue of $500 million of Treasury
Notes maturing on 22 February 2019 is planned to be held.
- The AOFM reiterated that since it "published its issuance program at the time
of the 2018-19 Budget, new bond lines maturing in May 2030, May 2041 and
February 2050 (a TIB) have been issued. No new bond lines will be issued before
the AOFM's next issuance program update, which is expected to be at the time the
Australian Government releases its Mid-Year Economic and Fiscal Outlook
(MYEFO)."
