STIR: - The biggest movers in STIR futures this morning have been Eurodollar
futures, with the majority of the move occurring in the the Asia session. These
moves are largely on the back of the PBOC moving the USDCNY fix higher. The
Eurodollar strip is still off the highs seen during the Asian session in the
early hours of August 6.
- Eurodollar Whites are up 2.5-6 ticks, Reds 6.5-8 ticks and Greens and Blues up
8-9.5 ticks.
- As fixed income continues to rally across Europe and following some more poor
data from Germany and France this morning, and UK-EU relations continue to sour,
short sterling and Euribor futures are continuing to move higher too.
- The short sterling strip has bull flattened with Whites unch to 2.5 ticks
higher, Reds 2.5-3 ticks higher, Greens 3-4 ticks higher and Blues 4-7 ticks
higher.
- The Euribor strip has seen similar, albeit smaller moves. White are 0.5-2
ticks higher, Reds 2.5-3 ticks higher, Greens 3-4.5 ticks higher and Blues
4.5-5.5 ticks higher.
