CHINA: The China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission has given the
greenlight to set up the first foreign-funded pension business in China, in a
move to liberalize the private pension market, a statement on their website
said. Heng An Standard Life, a joint venture insurer in China backed by the UK
asset manager Standard Life Aberdeen will establish a unit to run the pensions
business.
