KIWI: The flightless bird managed to hold onto most of its Q3 Labour report
inspired gains and opened in Asia at $0.6892, toward the upper side of the
$0.6838 to $0.6931 range witnessed yesterday. Q3 unemployment rate fell to 4.6%
from 4.8% in Q2, the lowest since Q4 2008 and average hourly earnings rose to
1.2% from 0.8% in Q2. In the absence of any significant data, local traders
expect sideways consolidation during the Asia session. Resistance lies at
$0.6931 (Nov1 high), while daily trend-line support is seen at $0.6844. Kiwi was
last at $0.6892.
