KIWI: The flightless bird opened in Asia at $0.7265 toward the lower side of the
$0.7252 to $0.7344 range witnessed yesterday, where lack of clarity over the NZ
elections placed the kiwi on the defensive. NZ Trade data (2145GMT) is the main
focus for investors in Asia, the August data is forecast to show a deficit of
N$825mn, down from a small surplus of N$85mn in July, due to seasonal factors.
Support is seen at $0.7247 (61.8% $0.7132 to $0.7433 rise), with the 100-dma
coming in below at $0.7238, while hourly resistance is located at $0.7295. Kiwi
