KIWI: The flightless bird opened in Asia toward the middle of the $0.7029 to
$0.7077 range witnessed yesterday, where broad-based US dollar weakness amid
lower UST yields was the theme. In the absence of any significant economic data,
range-trading is expected for the Asia session. Interestingly, the rally stopped
just shy of decent resistance, $0.7078 marks the 38.2% Fibonacci retracement on
the $0.7558 to $0.6781 decline, a break would target a move to $0.7169 (50% fib
on the same move), while support lies at $0.7029 (hourly low). Kiwi was last at
$0.7064.
