KIWI: The flightless bird opened in Asia towards the upper side of yesterday's
$0.6987 to $0.7020 range, where upbeat local GDP data was seen to underpin the
kiwi. In the absence of any data, it is expected to be a quiet end to the week
with range-trading likely ahead of the Christmas festivities. Resistance lies at
$0.7034 (Dec15 high), a break to open $0.7078 (38.2% fib $0.7558-$0.6781
decline), while yesterday's base at $0.6987 provides support.
