BOND SUMMARY: - The front-end of the US TSY curve has traded flat this morning,
while the longer-end has sold off slightly. The benchmark 10-year yield trades
at 2.734% up from a low of 2.714% with the 2s10s spread inching up to 20.6bps
from 19.6bps
- As a reminder, Japanese markets will be closed until Friday.
- EUREX is closed today. Derivatives trading will recommence on Wednesday.
- The latest Brexit intervention comes from Trade Secretary Liam Fox who has
claimed that if MPs do not back PM May's withdrawal deal, the probability of the
UK leaving the EU would be 50:50.
- Gilts have sold off this morning having rallied briefly after the open. The
2-year yield has pushed up to 0.772% from a low of 0.730%, while the 10-year
yield trades at 1.313% from 1.261%.  
- The data calendar is light today with the only significant release being the
Dallas Fed Manufacturing Activity Index for December.
