DOLLAR-YEN: The greenback opened in Asia at Y112.76 toward the upper side of the
Y112.32 to Y112.94 range witnessed yesterday, where despite strong US data,
non-manufacturing activity (ISM) surged to the highest level since August 2005,
the dollar was broadly unchanged on the day. There is no meaningful economic
data or scheduled events in Asia likely to influence trading, regional equities
will be sourced for direction, Nikkei futures were last +0.1%. Demand is also
expected into today's Tokyo-fix (Gotobi-Day). Resistance lies at Y112.94/95,
Oct4 high and hourly high Oct 3, while support is found at Y112.32 (Oct4 low).
