JAPAN: The latest round of weekly international security flows data showed that
Japanese investors resumed their net buying of foreign bonds after turning net
sellers in the previous week. Japanese investors have been net buyers of foreign
paper in 9 of the last 10 weeks, with the 4-week rolling sum of the measure
little changed in the most recent week.
- Elsewhere, foreign investors turned net sellers of Japanese stocks in the most
recent week. 3 weeks out of the last 4 have seen net selling lodged, with the
4-week rolling sum of the measure moving back into negative territory for the
first time in 3 weeks.
