OIL: The major oil benchmarks edged higher early this week, with WTI & Brent
adding $0.70 & $0.55 respectively to settlement levels at writing.
- Focus on OPEC supply cut rumours supported crude on Friday, following the
bearish pressure that had been in play for 12 sessions through the middle of
last week.
- The latest Baker Hughes rig count data showed 2 additional active oil rigs in
the latest week covered by the data.
