STOCKS: The major regional equity indices have struggled during Asia-Pac hours,
plagued by sentiment surrounding the ongoing Coronavirus that originated in
China.
- Mainland Chinese equities have underperformed, with some potential market
liquidity issues exacerbating losses ahead of the Lunar New Year. Pre-LNY PBoC
liquidity provisions have also garnered interest, and been outlined elsewhere.
- U.S. equity index futures edged lower. That being said, focus remains on the
liquidity backdrop provided by the Fed, and to a lesser extent (if you would

- Nikkei 225 -0.9%, Hang Seng -1.7%, CSI 300 -1.8%, ASX 200 -0.8%.
- S&P 500 futures -4, DJIA futures -48, NASDAQ 100 -9.
