US TSYS/RESEARCH: The Money Fund Report said US Money Market Fund assets grew
"by $12.3 billion in latest week" ended Oct. 17. 
- It said "total fund assets settled at $2.714 trillion for the week. Taxable
money-fund assets climbed $12.79 billion to $2.586 trillion."
- It said that "government institutional fund assets grew by $11.36 billion.
Prime Institutional fund assets went up by $2.74 billion. Taxable Retail fund
assets, however, plunged $1.31 billion."
- But it also added that "tax-free funds moved lower by $450.3 million to
$128.16 billion."
