US TSYS/OVERNIGHT REPO: The overnight repo market Friday saw the Treasury 3-year
notes remain tight at negative rate, -0.85%, with milder demand for 2-year,
5-year, 7-year and 10-year notes. The 3-year and 10-year notes' demand likely
stems from shorts done as a hedge against this week's 3/10/30-year Treasury
auctions, which occurred Wednesday and Thursday, said traders.
- Also, there was a mild bid for the old 2-year, old 3-year and old 5-year
notes. The Treasury General Collateral rate was at 1.10%. (More)
