KIWI: The RBNZ left policy unchanged and maintained its neutral bias overnight.
RBNZ acknowledged there are slightly more risks to the global economic outlook
and said the OCR will remain at an expansionary level for a considerable period
of time. NZDUSD witnessed modest gains on react as traders had expected a
slightly more dovish statement, before AUDNZD spec buyers quickly turned
sentiment. NZDUSD drifted throughout the session taking out key $0.6781 support
to print fresh multi-year lows of $0.6769. Technical/momentum indicators suggest
further downside pressure with next support seen at $0.6676/75 (May30 2016 low,
61.8% long term retracement $0.6130-0.7558). NZDUSD last $0.6774.
