BOND SUMMARY
BOND SUMMARY: The US House of Representatives will vote today on whether to
block President Donald Trump's attempts to call a border emergency.
- US TSYs are trading mixed today in a relatively tight range. Current yield
levels: 2-year 2.494%, 10-year  2.661%, 30-year 3.0295%.
- The Mar-19 JGB future trades at 152.86 up 1 tick from the low. 
- Bank of England Governor Mark Carney is currently addressing the Treasury
Select Committee and appears to have affirmed recent comments from Gertjan
Vlieghe that suggests policy easing is more likely in a no-deal scenario. Short
sterling futures are down 0.5-3.0 ticks with slight underperformance in
reds/greens. Gilt yields are 2-3bp higher on the day.
- Bunds have got off to a weak start with yields drifting ~2bp higher from the
lows.
- Italian BTPs have rallied with the 7-year yield down 6.0bps from yesterday's
close and outperforming the curve.
- Euro$ futures are 0.5-1.5 ticks higher. Euribor futures are flat.0.5 ticks
lower in whites/reds/greens.
