USD: The Yen and the GBP are the notable movers

  • Aside from the Kiwi and the AUD being up 0.40% and 0.30% respectively, and the JPY down a 0.65%, the rest of the G10 Currencies are closer to flat against the Dollar, at least in early trade.
  • The Yen has again seen another volatile Overnight session, USDJPY rallied all the way up to the 149.00 figure, printed a 149.02 high, but didn't quite managed to test this Week's high of 149.19.
  • Japan's largest Union group (Rengo) secured a pay rise for its Workers, but this had no impact on the Yen.
  • Cable is the early mover, extending further lows following the UK growth data missing estimates, Cable is down 0.22%, and initial support is seen below the figure, at 1.2862 Low Mar 12.
