GILT SUMMARY
GILT SUMMARY: There remains no sign of a breakthrough in UK-EU Brexit
negotiations, with the risk of PM Theresa May's Brexit deal being voted down in
parliament this week adding to downside pressure on cable.
- Gilts rallied soon after the open, with trading ranges relatively contained so
far. Current yield levels: 2-year 0.735%, 5-year 0.8998%, 10-year 1.182%,
30-year 1.696%.
- The Jun-19 gilt future trades at 127.18, near the highs of the morning and 15
ticks up from the low.
- Short sterling futures are broadly 0.5-1.5 ticks higher.
- A slew of significant data points will hit the wires tomorrow, including
trade, industrial production, the index of services and monthly GDP, all for
