Tight In The Morning, Supply Eyed

JGBS

JGB futures finished the morning session 1 tick above settlement levels, with the contract happy to hold a tight range, sitting within the range established during Monday's Tokyo session.

  • Cash trade saw some light outperformance in the belly.
  • Tokyo CPI metrics were a touch stronger than expected across the board, but the three major measures were still nowhere near challenging 1.0% in Y/Y terms.
  • Focus falls on this afternoon's 10-Year JGB supply.
