AUSSIE BONDS: Tight price action for futures in early SFE trade after an uptick
on SYCOM.
- YM +2.5, XM +3.0. YM/XM sits at 35.5 as a result, with the cash equivalent at
34.0bp.
- Bills running unchanged to 4 ticks higher through the reds. There was a ~2.6K
seller of IRM0U0 in early SFE trade.
- Little of note on the local docket today, with the AOFM weekly issuance
schedule taking focus. An address from RBA Governor Lowe and Australian CPI
headline next week's local docket.
- As we noted after hours yesterday, New South Wales Tsy Corp. ('TCORP')
mandated banks to arrange a series of fixed income investor meetings starting
Oct. 31. An AUD Sustainability bond transaction may follow, subject to market
conditions. We have also seen that Woolworths has mandated banks to carry out
meetings with investors, issuance may follow.
