Tight Start, Biden-Xi Speculation Brushed Off

US TSYS

There hasn't been any reaction in the space to an FT report which suggested that U.S. President "Biden suggested he hold a face-to-face summit with Chinese president Xi Jinping during a 90-minute call last week but failed to secure an agreement from his counterpart, leading some US officials to conclude that Beijing is continuing to play hardball with Washington." There was also a bid in the ACGB space that failed to spill over into U.S. Tsys. That leaves T-Notes within the confines of a narrow 0-02 range, while cash Tsys trade little changed to ~0.5bp cheaper on the day.
