Trade Rep Katherine Tai To Deliver "Major Speech" Tomorrow

The United States Trade Representative has announced that Trade Rep Katherine Tai will deliver "a major speech" tomorrow at the National Press Club at 14:00 ET 19:00 BST.

• USTR: "Ambassador Tai will detail how the pursuit of efficiency and low costs in trade policy led to vulnerable and high-risk supply chains."
• Sullivan's speech was widely considered a major overhaul of US economic and foreign policy. Sullivan's speech called for greater state control over sectors of the economy critical to national security and rejected traditional policies of trade liberalization.
